Getting Started
Before taking your lessons you will need to have a provisional licence this is required by law for you to legally drive a car under the supervision of a qualified instructor. You can apply for one through a form from your local post office, for more info click here.
New to driving?
It's ok if you are new to driving we don't expect you to know everything about cars infact our instructors will train you based on the level of driving experience, so if you haven't started an engine of a car or sat in the driver seat then we will make that journey a bit easier for you.
What happens next?
When you join us you will get an appointment card that details every maneavoure and checks needed for you to progress into your driving test, we will keep a check on your progression and advise you how many lessons to take.
Block bookings
It is recommended you take up block bookings, for the newest drivers we offer a 40 hour lesson and the test fees will be paid for so you don't have to worry about booking it we will do that for you. For more details about block bookings click here.
Ready for your test?
When you are confident and your instructor is happy for you to proceed with your practical driving test, then he/she will cover a few mock lessons to ensure you get a flavour of a real test, that way you don't bump into any suprises.
I've failed my test.
It's not the end of the world, a lot of people fail the first time and as driving tests become more and more difficult so does the need to learn skills and become a better driver, Green Arrow will help you become a better driver by ensuring you are meeting your learning requirements. We will not give up untill you have passed your test!
